Most outdoor lighting looks acceptable. Very little of it looks correct. The difference is measurable. This session explores how light quality, optics, and documentation work together to create better, more intentional outdoor lighting. Attendees will learn how to interpret TM-30 reports beyond traditional CRI, understand how LED optics and beam control affect real-world performance, and document systems in a way that preserves design intent and supports long-term serviceability. The goal is to show that “perfect light” isn’t simply a matter of taste, it can be specified, measured, documented, and reproduced.
