Digital Projection Helps Integrators Seize Opportunities in Emerging Markets with Versatile Line of LED Displays and Projectors
Choice of large-format imaging solutions coupled with world-class dealer support and service yield more successful installations for dealers.
(Denver, Colorado) August 15, 2023 – Thanks to its versatile line of direct-view LED solutions and high-performance projectors, Digital Projection offers systems integrators a wide range of imaging choices at different price points for diverse residential applications. At CEDIA Expo 2023, Booth #2543, Digital Projection demonstrates the advanced performance features, installation and configuration ease, and trend-setting designs of several new LED displays and projectors.
For example, CEDIA attendees can witness how the modular design and compact form factor of Digital Projection’s award-winning HIGHlite 4K UHD Reference Satellite Modular Laser System (MLS) and brighter, more powerful TITAN Satellite MLS deliver exceptional imaging experiences in areas where space is limited or design dictates a discreet installation.
Offering flexibility in diverse media room applications is Digital Projection’s E-Vision 11000. This single-chip 4K-UHD laser projector boasts a 10,500-lumen output, 6,000:1 dynamic contrast and seven-point color correction.
Systems integrators can also explore opportunities for the installation of Digital Projection’s new MicroLED display. This recent addition to Digital Projection’s Radiance LED EV line is available in a pixel pitch of 0.9mm or 1.2mm. Both are well-suited for environments with short viewing distances, with the 0.9mm option hitting the 4K imaging sweet spot at a 163-inch diagonal screen size.
Digital Projection Delivers Unprecedented Installation Ease and Flexibility from New Modular 3-Chip DLP Projectors
Digital Projection’s new RGB laser illuminated Satellite Modular Laser System (MLS) projection systems are bona fide game changers for the residential AV integration industry that offer near-REC2020 color space for beautifully saturated and lifelike images.
At CEDIA 2023 Booth #2543, Digital Projection demonstrates all the perks associated with this unique two-piece projection system, which separates the projector head from the pure laser light engine. Included in the Satellite MLS line is the HIGHlite, a 4K UHD Reference model and the brighter, more powerful TITAN. Both options offer systems integrators true installation flexibility and ease from a projector chassis that’s significantly smaller and lighter than other premium 3-chip DLP projectors on the market. The HIGHlite Satellite MLS weighs just 42 pounds, compared to the 120 pounds of most other projectors in its class and is 83% smaller than its original integrated design; the TITAN Satellite MLS weighs 81 pounds compared to the 200 pounds of most other projectors in its class and is 70% smaller.
Because the projector chassis and light source are two separate components, they can be installed apart from each other and connected by included fiber optic cable. This minimizes noise from interfering with the viewing experience, enables greater customization, and simplifies upgrades and maintenance.
Digital Projection Unveils 0.9 Pixel Pitch MicroLED, Perfect for Short Viewing Distances
Digital Projection adds a new MicroLED option to its Radiance LED EV Series, designed for exceptional image clarity and detail in environments dictated by short viewing distances. Featuring MicroLED technology in both pixel pitch 0.9mm and 1.2mm, the new display is well suited for any indoor application that requires viewing from close distances or the power of up to 1,200 nits of brightness. It is also a good choice for critical viewing in commercial applications, such as small- and medium-size boardrooms and command and control facilities. The 0.9mm offering hits the 4K imaging sweet spot at a 163-inch diagonal size.
Other features contributing to the new MicroLED’s remarkable imaging performance include brightness up to 1,200 nits and contrast up to 20,000:1. The smaller 0.9 mm pixel package allows for a darker area surrounding each pixel, which results in better black levels and contrast. The smaller pixel package also enables a wider viewing angle (170 degrees horizontal/170 degrees vertical). Colors are rich, vibrant and accurate as well, thanks to the MicroLED’s 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 and NTSC color space.
Finally, there’s cost: the 0.9 mm MicroLED solution is more efficient to manufacture than SMD technology, bringing the price down for this category. Power consumption is also significantly less, resulting in longer term energy savings over the product lifespan.
Digital Projection Bridges the Commercial/Residential Divide with Products and Unmatched Dealer Service and Support
The technological differences in commercial and residential projects are growing increasingly harder to discern. Companies are redesigning their corporate workspaces to evoke the creature comforts of home, while residences are incorporating a caliber of technology normally reserved for commercial settings. As a result, projection systems and displays once relevant only for the commercial market are crossing into residential territory and vis-versa.
Digital Projection has paced with the resimercial trend by introducing versatile, multi-faceted imaging solutions suitable for both applications. It’s a move that’s made life a lot easier for systems integrators and inspires exciting new business opportunities. Systems integrators who visit Digital Projection at Booth #2543 can learn how projection and dvLED products in the portfolio can help expand their reach into lucrative emerging markets.
Naturally, there’s a learning curve involved when moving into new areas of business; Digital Projection’s unprecedented concierge level of dealer service and support eases the transition. From initial design to final installation, the experts at Digital Projection can carry the lion’s share of the workload, leaving more time for integrators to focus on other aspects of their business. As a trusted partner in all imaging pursuits, Digital Projection paves the way for greater success for its dealers.
