Toronto, ON – July 26, 2023 – Selective Design, the Canadian manufacturer of Nakymatone Invisible speakers and subwoofers will show its new time-saving invisible pre-wiring installation solution called Xspot™. Always seeking to make installations faster and improve loudspeaker performance, the Nakymatone Controlled Resonance Technology™ invisible speaker design offers superior musical performance. Prewiring with Xspot allows a floating invisible speaker installation in drywall and isolated from the studs. With Xspot, Nakymatone Invisible Speakers can be reliably and efficiently integrated into every speaker location.
Nakymatone Invisible Speakers are the most accurate and musical invisible speaker and perform best when they are isolated from the studs. By placing the Nakymatone Invisible Speaker centered between studs and attached only to the drywall reduces sympathetic resonance of the speaker which would otherwise be transferred away from the speaker by the stud and degrade performance. Nakymatone’ excellent off-axis response is maintained, and speaker soundboard output efficiency is maximized. Further, the Nakymatone industry leading STC specification for minimal sound transfer is additionally improved from and by the acoustically sealed anodized aluminum invisible speaker enclosure.
All Nakymatone Invisible Speakers and Subwoofers are designed to allow quick easy installation with the Xspot solutions, making invisible pre-wiring and locating all your locations faster.

Also new from Nakymatone is the company’s new slim-depth In-wall Invisible Subwoofer, BASE. Nakymatone BASE is only 3.75” (95.25mm) deep and will allow you the choice of a vent in the drywall or at Baseboard level. With an option to be located on the bottom of the enclosure to allow a lie-flat installation such as behind baseboard or discreet toe-kick space. Internally, BASE performs to 40Hz via a 3” x 12” carbon fiber subwoofer driver which may be efficiently driven with 125 watts or greater. The new Selective Design Linear Series power amplifiers can be paired with the BASE Sub to provide a rich performing system.
