Origin Acoustics Acquires Luxury Loudspeaker Brand Ambisonic Systems
CEDIA Expo 2021, August 31, 2021 – Origin Acoustics, the leading manufacturer of architectural audio and the worldwide distributor of Ambisonic Systems, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Ambisonic Systems.
Ambisonic Systems, the Lake Havasu City, Arizona, manufacturer of performance luxury Pro and Residential loudspeaker systems, was founded in 2009 by industry pioneer Jeffery Coombs. Ambisonic Systems specializes in high-output, audiophile-quality sound reinforcement loudspeakers. With over 64 years of experience in designing professional and high-end loudspeakers—specializing in ribbon-line arrays—the company’s engineering team is known for its innovative concepts, breakthrough products and great-sounding speakers.
Ambisonic Systems has spent years producing Pro Audio gear for the world’s most exquisite venues and theaters.
