Acoustics Introduces High-Performance, Versatile Amplifiers
RevNet™ Series amps
offer audiophile-grade specifications along with a suite of features including
Auto EQ, 16/8/4 Ohm or 70V operation; built-in sound masking generator and
Dante capability available for commercial installations.
CEDIA 2018, Booth 3921
Montreal, Canada – Revolution Acoustics has introduced the
RevNet™ Series of highly versatile, audiophile-specification Class D amplifiers.
Suitable for a wide range of applications including whole-home audio, home
theater and commercial uses, RevNet amplifiers bring superior power and
headroom for driving Revolution Acoustics SSP6 Multiducers – or any other speakers.
RevNet amps offer unparalleled versatility in control, with
management over WiFi or TCP/IP. A built-in DSP provides 31 band EQ, with an
Auto EQ function accessed via an easy to use Android or IOS App. Fast-wiring
Phoenix connectors allow integrators to quickly pre-wire audio
sources/destinations for simple plug-in connections to the amp.
Each amplifier delivers 2 x 140 watts RMS @ 8Ω (1 x 280 in
70/100V mode) with a frequency response of 20 Hz – 20 kHz and 26 dB gain. For
commercial corporate workspace applications, RevNet amps include a sound
masking generator; the RevNet 2140-D offers the added convenience of Dante® I/O
and control, with AES-67 support. RevNet amplifiers may be daisy-chained for
scalability to any system size.
“RevNet truly is the ‘Swiss Army Knife’ of amplifiers,” said
Bob Katz, Revolution Acoustics CEO. “With its outstanding dynamic range and
lowest distortion performance of any comparable amplifier, it can provide
flawless audio in a high end home installation. At the same time, its Auto EQ,
sound masking generator and optional Dante I/O make it perfect for the most
demanding commercial installations. It’s the perfect match for our
revolutionary SSP6 Multiducers – or any other speaker.”
The RevNet 2140 and RevNet 2140-D will be available in late
Q3 2018. Visit revolutionacoustics.com for more information.
