Z-Wave Alliance Supports Smart Home
and Integrator Growth at CEDIA Expo 2018
The Z-Wave Pavilion will feature new
pro channel products, demonstrations from emerging brands and opportunities for
integrator involvement
San Diego, CA – CEDIA Expo 2018 – Z-Wave Pavilion Booth #2715 – The Z-Wave Alliance, a global membership organization dedicated to advancing the
popular Z-Wave wireless smart home protocol, will host the Z-Wave Pavilion at
CEDIA Expo 2018 in San Diego, California, with member companies featuring new
products and services in smart home, demonstrations of integrator offerings and
more.
With over 2,400 certified and
interoperable products from over 700 member companies, the Z-Wave Alliance offers
integrators a diverse selection of smart home and residential IoT devices to
choose from. The Z-Wave Pavilion will showcase member companies exhibiting the
latest in smart home innovation; Alliance members exhibiting in the CEDIA
Pavilion include top manufacturers and emerging brands in the smart home such
as: Aeotec, Dome, Guardian, Fibaro,
Observables, Hogar Controls and more.
As the smart home market continues to
grow in popularity amongst consumers, so does the opportunity for integrators
to expand their business and look for new ways to reach potential customers. Recognizing
this growing need for smart home support, the annual Z-Wave Fall Summit will be
open to integrator members across the Alliance for the first time. Integrator
members will be able to participate in the developer’s forum which includes technical
training for a deeper-dive into the technology along with access to the sales
and marketing tracks to learn more about how to educate customers on the
benefits of a Z-Wave smart home. The Z-Wave Fall Summit will take place in
Philadelphia on September 24-26, 2018.
“With smart home exploding in the
market, there has never been a better time for Z-Wave integrators and manufacturers
to reach homeowners. Mainstream buyers are finally realizing the value,
security and convenience that a connected home can offer,” said Mitchell Klein,
Executive Director, Z-Wave Alliance and CEDIA Fellow and committee chair. “Integrators
who join the Alliance are part of a member ecosystem that includes the top
manufacturers and ODMs in the residential IoT and have access to the wealth of
knowledge and industry connections they bring. We’re excited about the growth in
interest in the Alliance from integrators and we look forward to continuing to
support the important work they do to move forward widespread acceptance of
this technology.”
The Z-Wave Pavilion will also feature
the Z-Wave Certified Installer Toolkit, a 2017 CEDIA Award winner in the “Best Hardware” category,
exclusively available to Alliance members. The Z-Wave Certified Installer
Toolkit helps enable installers and integrators to maintain, diagnose and
troubleshoot Z-Wave networks to ensure a solid, secure mesh network is in
place. Live demos of the toolkit will be available in the Pavilion during show
hours.
