NKBA and ASID to serve as lunch sponsors for the two-day event
Alpharetta, GA (August 8, 2019)— CEDIA Expo is proud to announce Control4 – a leader in home-automation and connected living – as the title sponsor of the 2019 Design+Connection Tours at CEDA Expo in Denver, Colo. The Salt Lake City-based tech company played a key role in last year’s tours – the first event of its kind positioned to connect design and construction professionals with tech counterparts – and returns as the primary brand behind both the Sept. 12 and 13 show floor activation.
Joining Control4 in support of the Design+Connection Tours will be the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) as lunch sponsors. The NKBA is a returning sponsor in the same role as 2018, while ASID joins the excitement for the first time.
“Control4 is excited to once again be the presenting sponsor behind the Design Connection Tours at CEDIA Expo,” said Brad Hintze, senior director of product marketing at Control4. “Creating strong relationships between technology and design professionals is of the highest priority to Control4. We see the Design Connection Tours as the perfect opportunity to foster those relationships.”
The CEDIA Expo Design+Connection Tours will be led by technology integrator’s Jamie Briesemeister, CEO and co-founder of Integration Controls, and Peter Cook, president and founder of Automation Design + Entertainment, Inc. The two industry leaders will guide up to 20 members of the design and construction industries, as well as related media, to a select number of exhibitor booth locations. Each stop will feature product overviews and Q&A’s with brand representatives.
“The Design+Connection Tours are an integral part of CEDIA Expo and its continued commitment to the design and construction industry,” said Brian Pagel, senior vice president of Emerald Expositions. “Control4, NKBA, and SOMFY make for tremendous partners to bridge the gap between designer and integrator, and we look forward to the success of our 2019 tours.
Both tours will begin in the Control4 booth (#3013). After visting eight additional brands throughout the Denver Convention Center, both tours will wrap in the Design + Connect Pavilion (#1960), home to the NKBA booth and ASID booth, respectively.
