Applications Now Open for 2nd Annual Interactive Brand Event on CEDIA Expo Smart Stage
Alpharetta, GA (June 7, 2019) — CEDIA Expo, the platform where disruptors, innovators and integrators in the connected built environment collaborate, announces the host of the returning TechBites program — Katye (McGregor) Bennett, CEO and chief strategist, KMB Communications.

Katye is a multi-faceted home technology and commercial AV communications professional. As CEO of KMB Communications, one of the audio-visual industry’s premier PR, social media, and content creation firms, Katye leads a talented team serving brands such as Access Networks, AtlasIED, Azione Unlimited, D-Tools, HTA, Leon, Listen Technologies, OneVision Resources, Rayan, SmartTouch, and Torus Power.
Katye is also the host of two recently released audio visual industry podcasts, Connecting Tech + Design and AV Trade Talk, and has also made guest appearances on podcasts by the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) and others. New for 2019, TechBites will move to one day of the show taking place Thursday, September 12 from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM.
Designed for exhibiting brands to launch their most innovative products in a “speed dating” format, TechBites will offer the audience a lively, three-minute presentation from each new brand, followed by a two-minute Q & A session fielding questions from the media, influencers and industry pros.
A judging panel will choose 10 brands, a combination of smart home, home theater, and security brands, who are bringing the most innovative products to the show to participate.
The TechBites judging panel includes the following:

The application form is now open and applications are being accepted until June 14. Selected brands will be announced in July 2019.
Presentation highlights will be shared and live streamed via CEDIA Expo’s Facebook page from the CEDIA Expo Smart Stage at the Colorado Convention Center.
