(Alpharetta, Ga.) — April 18, 2018 — CEDIA Expo announced today that registration is now open for CEDIA Expo 2018—the premiere event for the connected technology industry. The event takes place September 4–8 and will be held at the San Diego Convention Center.

CEDIA Expo is the leading annual exhibition for the custom integrator industry. It has enjoyed consistent growth in prior years, reaching over 20,000 home technology professionals and over 500 exhibitors in 2017.
CEDIA Expo 2018 will bring several new features and programs to the show floor. One of those programs, TechTalks, will showcase a series of inspiring and educational talks from connected technology experts who will share insights into what the future holds for the custom integration industry. CE Pro is collaborating with CEDIA Expo to bring TechTalks to life on the show stage. TechTalks will explore topics such as material selection, signal distribution and security technologies, untapped revenue streams, partnerships with interior designers, connected technologies of the future and more. TechTalks will take place on the CEDIA Expo Smart Stage September 6-8.
2018 will also present TechBites on the Smart Stage, a program designed for exhibitors to introduce their most innovative and new products to both media and attendees in a live, speed-dating-style format. Each brand has three minutes to present and two minutes to field questions from the audience. Brands may submit entries beginning May 3 and will be announced to attendees in July.
In the coming months, CEDIA Expo is expected to announce additional programs and events, all aimed at providing Expo attendees an invaluable experience packed with value-driven insights to directly impact their businesses at home.
