Brand and Tradeshow Veteran Accepts New Role with Emerald Expositions; Turns focus to CEDIA Expo’s Return to Denver in 2019
(Alpharetta, Ga.) July 10, 2019 – CEDIA Expo, the leading event for technology within the intelligently built environment, announces Renée Lyn as senior marketing manager of CEDIA Expo. Previously of TOTO and Acuity Brands, Lyn has over 10 years of tradeshow management experience within the design and technology sectors. CEDIA Expo 2019 runs September 10-14 at the Colorado Convention Center, Denver, CO and Lyn will take on a prominent role in the shows execution.
Lyn is charged with show marketing as well as driving show-floor programming for additional networking, educational, and sales opportunities for exhibitors and attendees. CEDIA Expo 2019 programming includes presentations on the CEDIA Expo SmartStage, Design+Connection activations across the show floor, and exhibitor events in and around the Colorado Convention Center.
In addition to Renée’s tradeshow knowledge, she brings experience bridging the gap between technology-focused brands and the design community, using social media and strategic partnerships. She hopes to continue fostering CEDIA Expo’s platform of connecting innovators and the industry professionals who integrate these exciting technologies in the residential space. A native of Mandeville, Jamaica, Renée currently resides with her family in Smyrna, Ga.
