CEDIA Expo Covers Hot Topics Relevant to Integrators, Consumers and Manufacturers
Alpharetta, GA (September 4, 2019) — The CEDIA Expo 2019 Smart Stage will provide educational panel discussions and entertaining exhibitor programs for the broad attendee base at CEDIA Expo. Being held at the Colorado Convention Center Sept. 12-14, here are the highlights you can expect to see from the CEDIA Expo Smart Stage:
1. East coast designers and integrators get a new awards program
DJ Carey, editor in chief, Connecticut Cottages & Gardens magazine will be announcing the all new smart-home category for the annual IDA Awards. The Innovation in Design Awards by CTC&G, now in its 12th year, will honor top designs incorporating connected technology in Connecticut and New York. Hear about the new awards program on Thursday from 11:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
2. Design and Technology communities continue to collaborate
In addition to talks in the Design + Connection Pavilion, the Design Connection Tours and the NKBA Thought Leadership summit at CEDIA Expo, the Smart Stage will bring leading designers, architects and builders together with technology integrators and manufacturers to discuss achieving successful partnerships in the age of the connected home.
Danielle Karr, architect & designer program manager at Control4, will moderate a panel along with five expert panelists on technology and design integration taking place Thursday from 3:00 p.m. – 3:50 p.m.
3. Experts discuss how technology can impact and improve health and wellness
Advancements in residential technology address the need for healthy living in all spaces in which we reside. Exhibitors at the 2019 show will showcase new products in the category including human-centered lighting, indoor air and water quality, and hydrotherapy. To complement the products debuted at the show, the Smart Stage will feature two panels on the topic.
Savant will discuss bringing personalized wellness solutions to clients on Thursday from 1:40 p.m. -2:10 p.m. and CTLabs and the Living in Place Institute (LIPI) will cover how technology can improve lifestyles for people of all ages on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
4. The rise of voice control
New research from Parks Associates points to a rise in products incorporating voice control. Presented by Dina Abdelrazik, research analyst, Parks Associates the Smart Stage will feature The Rise of Voice Control in the Connected Lifestyle on Saturday from 12:15 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.
5. Industry veterans share how to continue the growth of your business
With CEDIA industry veterans attending the show each year, leading manufacturers will speak to the Smart Stage audience on new ways to grow your integration business with the new seamless standard for connected homes.
Talks from Z-Wave, Brilliant, and Sonnen will all touch on new products and strategies to continue the growth of an integration or tech business.
