K-array is happy to announce the addition of the KSC18P subwoofer to the Thunder family and all new KFC26 speaker which were both made with luxury residential audio solutions in mind. These two products will help integrators and designers provide a seamless experience for the home – from the base of an idea to a completed project for the end user, the KSCP18 and KFC26 are the right choice to compliment any room.
The Thunder-KSC18P is a passive 18-inch subwoofer with a fixed impedance of 4Ω and has been specifically designed for home cinema. The small footprint and the extended low-end response makes this subwoofer the perfect companion in spaces throughout the home where LF contour reinforcement and sound effects ask for impact and deep bass.
The enclosure includes a single 18” neodymium magnet with a 4.5” voice coil to acoustically optimize for operation at high SPL in demanding conditions. Peaking at 134 dB and extending down to 20Hz, the KSC18P will maintain sound performance in any room.
The all new Domino-KFC26, with a peak SPL of 115dB and fixed impedance is the most suitable full-range K-array speaker for home cinema applications and for all other uses where a wider audio coverage is required. The speakers are comprised of a 6″ neodymium magnet woofer and a 1.1″ dome tweeter, plus a 6″ passive radiator to extend the bass response in the lower end frequencies.
Tailoring loudspeakers and subwoofers to the architectural and aesthetic characteristics of a room, with respect to the listening area, gives Dolby Atmos technology the chance to work using K-array products to provide a 3D spacious surround sound experience in a home cinema environment.
Designed as a passive speaker, the less than 5 inches deep, stainless steel Domino-KFC26 can be transformed into a self-powered speaker just by inserting the specific amplifier accessory. With an impressive diminutive depth and a lightweight form, the KFC26 has 140° horizontal and vertical coverage sure the cover the most important areas in the room. Accessories are available to make installation even easier – the KWF26 will support the KFC26 to be flushed into the wall or ceiling.
To add to these already defined cabinets, we have developed, refined and customized finishing for Marine applications that can resist harsh weather conditions and oxidation caused by salt. We also have the ability to customize any project by color matching the system to any RAL code, Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams color, and provide luxurious finishes to help to better integrate the speakers into a wide variety of residential areas.
K-array will be showcasing an extensive line of residential audio and lighting solutions in Dallas, TX, later this month at the 2022 CEDIA Expo. Experience live audio demonstrations and hands-on touring of the latest K-array products during the expo at booth #26081, Sept 29 – Oct.1st, 2022.
