Products Introduces Chameleon™ Retractable Hose System for Central Vacuums

Products Central Vacuums (H-P) is pleased to introduce Chameleon™, a
proprietary retractable hose system available to its central vacuum dealer
network. In development for the last two years, Chameleon addresses many of the
issues experienced by other retractable hose systems.

Chameleon
valves were carefully engineered to give users the ultimate central vacuum
experience.  This includes features like
reduced friction on the hose, magnetic door closures and automatic turn-off.
Chameleon valves were designed with installing dealers in mind and all
components are removable or replaceable.

Unlike other
retractable hose systems, Chameleon features an automatic lock and patented
dual seal system.  The patented dual seal
is independent of the door and tolerant of uneven wall surfaces.  H-P’s patented cam lock virtually eliminates
the hose sock bunching and stretching common to other retractable systems. This
ensures a consistent seal every time and more vacuum power for the most
challenging cleaning jobs.

Chameleon
features a built-in, 360° swivel hose handle made of durable
polycarbonate/ABS blend that can be used on its own for quick clean-ups. Attach
a cleaning accessory for even more versatility. 

The
Chameleon retractable hose system stores the vacuum hose inside the vacuum
tubing. For your thorough vacuum jobs, simply pull the hose out until it locks
into place, vacuum the mess and then retract the hose back inside the tubing
system. For quick clean-ups, Chameleon can be pulled out to any length, vacuum
the mess and retract back into place.

Chameleon is
perfect for every part of the house, even the garage! Hoses are offered with
and without hose socks in lengths from 30’ to 50’. Valve doors are available in
white, almond and black to complement any décor.
